MESODISSOLUTION

Mesodissolution is a technique by means of which we inject large volume of hyposmolar cocktail into the areas of adipocyte concentration. As a result of the mesodissolution procedure, fat cells dissolve. The procedure is effective for the reduction of local fat depots – in the areas of abdomen, buttocks, knees, shoulders, double chin.

For mesodissolution, we use special fat-burning (lipolytic) cocktails, which are injected deep into subcutaneous fat. Due to the difference in osmolarity between an injected cocktail and surrounding tissue, adipocyte membrane is broken. After the adipocyte dissolution, decay products do not accumulate in the area of injection but excrete into the bloodstream. The application of this technique provides a great result: the area stays corrected within a few years.

Before the procedure, the specialist-dermatologist collects detailed information about the health of the patient. The patient lies on a comfortable chair; our specialist treats the operative field with 0.5% alcohol chlorhexidine solution and injects large volume of a cocktail deep into subcutaneous fat of the problem areas. Patients do not usually experience any problems during the procedure. The procedure takes from 30 to 60 minutes.
